Hello, lovebirds! I'm Reverend Billy. If you are hoping to have a wedding ceremony that is full of love, presentness, and some level of spirituality, but can do without heavy religious doctrine, you'll probably like what I do. I have a very warm, good-humored style and I take the sacredness of marriage seriously without being heavy-handed about it. With me, your wedding won't be a cookie cutter ceremony; rather, it will be crafted around what is important to you and what makes the love that you and your partner share so uniquely beautiful.

My rates are very competitive, and they vary depending on the length of the ceremony and level of interaction that precedes it. As a music composer and performer by trade, I offer the option of making part of your wedding ceremony musical (I can compose a piece of music specifically for your marriage!). I am also available to perform music (piano, acoustic guitar, singing, even complete "one-man band"!) or DJ for your reception. I offer a package deal that combines the wedding ceremony and entertainment for your reception that you will be hard pressed to find comparable rates on when hiring a Minister and DJ/band separately.

Above all, I believe that a wedding should be full of love, warmth, joy, truth, understanding, seriousness, presentness, mindfulness... and fun! I promise to do my part to contribute these elements so that your wedding can be what it should be: one of the best experiences of your life!

I was originally ordained as a Unitarian Minister so that I could officiate my two good friends' wedding, and to be honest, I figured that it would be a one time deal. But a few weeks after that ceremony, I received a call from the groom's cousin asking if I could officiate his friend's wedding. I did, and realized that not only did I enjoy the experience, but I'm really good at this thing! More weddings followed, all through personal recommendations, and I have decided to now offer my services to the WHOLE WORLD (well, at least the greater Chicagoland area)!

I have always had a great passion for music (I have a Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition), art, and nature. It is in these things that I have found a sense of the divine, something that unifies us all. I believe that LOVE is universal, that it transcends the human condition, and that LOVE for each other and our planet is our highest calling. It is the greatest gift we could have, and worth celebrating!
