Kate Rodriguez - Owner / Consultant

Kate's long time dream was to start her own Wedding and Event Planning business. In fact, that's how DreamWorks got its name. She started out in 2000 with the planning of a dear friend's Baby shower, followed by another friend's Bridal Shower and Wedding, then eventually, her own Wedding. Kate is known to her friends as the "Planner". Having worked occasionally for a friend's Event Planning Business and gaining a bit of experience in the industry, she began coordinating Birthday Parties, Wine Tours, Proms, etc. while working with a local limousine company as an event coordinator. It was then that she decided to put her plan into action and make her dream a bonafide reality.


Sherlyn Self - Custom Album /Floral Designer

Sherlyn is Kate's mother, friend, confidant, and now, business associate. She has been making custom keepsake albums, scrapbooks, guestbooks and floral arrangements for family, friends and associates for over 20 years. Specializing in wedding albums and bouquets, her work is exquisite. Sherlyn works with both silk and fresh flowers and can create a beautiful piece of treasure, sure to suit even your most extraordinary of events.


Brenda Hoag- Custom Cake Designer

Brenda was a classmate of Kate's in college and is no slouch when it comes to Cake designing. She's been in the business of Cake and Floral design for over 20 years. From Wedding Cakes to Birthday Cakes, even Cakes for Bridal Showers and Anniversaries, Brenda has done it all. She is sure to design a custom masterpiece suitable for any special event.
