I'm Lysa D., owner/coordinator of Timeless Momentz. Most know me from being a radio personality, here in Phoenix, or even DJing in some of the hottest venues/clubs, nationwide! I've also performed/emceed/deejayed at quite a few grand/corporate events for CotyŠ, DoveŠ, & a few other major corporations; & I've seen how they are beautifully decorated, & carefully planned/executed. In addition, I'm a booking agent/mgr for a few DJs who are well-known radio/club mixers - who also perform weddings & events with the utmost professionalism & experience! I also have a background in web/graphic design & I'm an independent travel agent! (Yes, many hats!)

Well, why did I decide to become a wedding/event planner, you ask? I think it started when I helped one of my girlfriends coordinate HER wedding & by also attending a few. Weddings just have this "magic" in the air & the moments throughout the day are just so special, that I wanted to become a part of making those memories happen! Being in radio has helped me build alot of relationships with some great vendors & businesses & I know they'd be more than willing to accomodate & assist my own wedding/event clients!

There are so many wedding planners to choose from, but I think what differentiates me from most...I have the resources right here, for most of your wedding needs (i.e. invitations, favors, travel, registries, etc.), which in turn will save you money in the long run!

I work with ANY budget - big or small! Most brides may think that wedding planners are for wealthy or "better off" individuals. That's not true! Also, most brides feel, "well I can save money by having my aunt or my friend's cousin's sister coordinate my wedding for free!" Well sure, but how can you guarantee that everything gets done RIGHT? What if your friend's cousin's sister has a grudge because she didn't have the dream wedding & takes it out on yours? Ok, well that may NOT happen, but... I truly believe ALL your guests should enjoy YOUR special day, along with YOU! Hiring a wedding planner is like having your own personal assistant, who is professional, fun, & helps you with creativity. She will make everything as perfect as she can so that you can look back & say, "wow, we had such a beautiful day!"

Most wedding planners charge by the hour or even a percentage of your total wedding costs. And yes, most planners are "costly"...But we work hard to make every detail just right! However, I work with YOUR budget... And believe me, you CAN have a beautiful event on a small budget! I also do not receive "commission" for recommending any vendors... If it's offered, it's negotiated for my clients to benefit from!

With your 1 hour FREE consultation, I gather as much info about YOU & your vision. Then from that, I can tell you whether my services would be on an hourly or percentage basis, again considering YOUR budget & what services can be offered within that budget so that your money can be spent on things you'd love to have at your event. Your contract will state everything up front and there will be no hidden costs or additional fees unless you decide to add more services to your package!

Also, most people ask if I handle more than one wedding simultaneously. The answer is NO. I choose to handle ONE wedding at a time so the focus is on the bride & her needs during HER time. The only exception would be, for example, if your wedding/event is from 10am - 4pm. And another wedding/event is booked that same evening, 5pm - Midnight, & does not create any conflict. Then my services & focus would be on that bride during HER time, as well!!!

As stated in my profile, I'm a radio personality (currently off-the-air), mixshow/club DJ... I also have a home-based travel business (specializing in destination weddings, Las Vegas, etc.). I am a new "wedding planner" but have years of experience with event coordination & planning from working in the salon industry, as well as, radio, etc.!!! I have an excellent rapport with some vendors from being in radio, & look forward to building new relationships with more vendors! I work with ANY budget and I just feel that every bride should take advantage of a wedding consultant to ease the stress of creating their dream wedding!!!

P.S. I don't actually book myself for DJing weddings...I manage/book a few GREAT local DJs (also from radio, that also specialize in weddings, events, even bar/bat mitvahs)! *If you DO request me to perform at your wedding/event, please keep in mind, it will cost MORE than the average. :0)
