Do you remember your first party? The very first one you got so excited about because all of your friends would be there? I do!

It was October and this day was important- it was my 7th birthday! I clearly recall being so excited that I woke up early. I had a special dress picked out in a \"key lime\" shade of green for this special day. I was ready! (As a child I remember caring about every detail being perfect - even down to my outfits and my hair.)

My mother did my hair and off we went to the party. The decorations were perfect but I won\'t bore you with the flashback into the early 80s with visions of bold geometric shapes and colors of pinks and greens (which matched my dress), piñatas, the list goes on and on...and then there were favor bags with goodies for all my friends!

I\'ll never forget that feeling when all my family and friends were there to celebrate \'me.\' This was such a special memory and thus was the turning point of my \'love of events.\' From this point on, I had to always be involved in any celebration! I wanted to plan it and give gifts just to see the smile on the other person\'s face.

The feeling I had at my birthday party carried me to this day. Your event should be just as much of a special memory as that one was for me. I love all things social and I enjoy meeting people.

My Advertising & Marketing degree, along with a minor in Spanish, led me to begin a career as a corporate Marketing Manager for several large companies handling their marketing, events and functions. After years spent working for corporations, I went to work for the largest church in the United States, Lakewood Church with 47,000 members each week, as the Weddings Director & Event Coordinator. My past and present experiences, I have allowed me to handle countless weddings and events with grace and style which has given me a sound foundation under my belt!

I decided after planning events for so many others I decided to pursue my passion full time. This is where \"Chic Soiree\" was birthed. I have the vision and desire to make every event fabulous and as long as I am involved, it will be nothing but! I am passionate about what I do and this is very real to me. Your event needs the amount of passion that I bring to work every day. This is what I call the \"Couture Wedding & Event Experience.\"
